This Group meets on the first Saturday of each month at 10.30am.

With our Creative Writing Group, we hope to explore many different genres - from poetry to short stories and novels, from fiction to fact. Through discussion we aim to develop our writing skills and ability to critique our own and other authors' work in a constructive way. Through writing we hope to find the joy in using the power of words to their fullest potential and our own immense satisfaction. We will work together to find the best ways to do that - but flexibility will be the key....

Jan (the Group Leader) is an experienced writer, publisher, editor and media professional with a strong background in features writing and celebrity interviews. She's passionate about good writing and lectured in feature writing and magazine journalism at post grad level for seven years.
